At Choithram, we aim for perfection in everything…including sports. The concept of Physical Education is not new. Since the time of birth, a child engages in sports in various stages of life. “Physical education is the sum of those experiences which come to the individual through movements.”

The wholesome development of an individual is what we believe in at CIS. Our objective is to develop physical, mental, emotional, social, Neuro-muscular co-ordination and health aspects of a child. Sports activities keep us fit.

An integral part of our activities at CIS is our After School Activities (ASA) program. The major focus of the ASA is to offer safe opportunities that encourage children to explore and participate in events that promote skill-building, critical thinking, cross cultural friendships and the development of teamwork under the guidance of first class coaches from all over the nation.

At CIS, there are various sports and games. It’s a great opportunity for children to belong to this family and bring out the sportsman within.

Sports are important as they enhance alertness of mind, knowledge of health and diseases, national integration, appreciation of beauty, human relations, discipline, tolerance, health and fitness and character building.

We believe that sports play a key role in ensuring the holistic development of the child. We consider each and every Choithram student as a delegate for Choithram, we expect the students to be on time, prepared and always having the great spirit which makes winners apart from losers. We, here at Choithram, want the students to find themselves, and the only way we can let them find themselves is by letting them play and live life to the fullest. That is our eternal aim- to let the students LIVE LIFE TO THE MAXIMUM.
