“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”

It was our 5th Annual sports day today, students were given the opportunity to get away from the humdrum of books and bags and enjoy a day in the field events. There were a plethora of track and field events.

The chief guest for the meet was Mr. Swapan Mukherjee , Principal Choithram school.

The function began in the traditional manner with the flame run and march past, followed by the setting free of pigeons - symbolising peace and cooperation .

Rashmi Bafna and Manas Kalani of grade IX won the best sports athelete for girls and boys award.

The Inter house sports Trophy was bagged by Nalanda house.

Its been a long time since i have interacted with you all, the whole of last 2 weeks had been very hectic .

The IGCSE and A-LEVEL results were declared , our students have excelled .

I take great pride in informing you all that our results are much above the world average results for A*, A and B grades.

In IGCSE where the results are 100% , the percentange of ICE for students is 93%.

The A-LEVEL (XII) results are 98%, with many students getting AIDP certificates along with AICE.

Some informative workshops were conducted during the last 15 days, among them the most prominent being the workshop on IIT-JEE . This was done so that students and parents are made aware that the A-level students can do better than any indian curriculum when they give the entrance exams. I would like to thank MR . Sundeep Gupta , who is known to be a GURU among all the IITians for coming and addressing the students and parents . He compared the CBSE , A-LEVEL & IIT entrance papers.

He could prove the audience that students of A-level infact can handle the entrance papers better as they already are learning application based questions in the curriculum.
