AP® :Advanced Placement Program® Exams

Advanced Placement program offered by College Board

Universities all over the world acknowledge the Advanced Placement Program® of the College Board as a mark of academic excellence. Since 1955, the AP® Programme has given millions of students the opportunity to enroll in college-level courses at American universities and earn advanced placement, undergraduate degree credit, or both while still in high school or secondary school.

More than 700 universities worldwide, including almost all colleges and universities in the United States and Canada, accept AP Exam scores as part of their admissions requirements and offer credit and placement to students who meet the requirements. In addition, regardless of AP score, most colleges favorably consider course participation in the admissions process.

Every year, during the first two or three weeks of May, AP exams are conducted. It is highly advised to sign up in the autumn before the testing year.
