Eligibility Criteria for Admission:

Diploma Program: Age 16-19 years.

The student must have successfully completed MYP with a min. of 60% aggregate marks or any equivalent qualification from a recognized school before joining Choithram International.
The candidate should have a good behavioural record and is expected to submit a letter of recommendation from the Head of School or the Coordinator from the last attended school.
Students from IGCSE should have a minimum 5 Cs or higher for admission in DP for Diploma
The subject in which the student has scored a D or below will be taken only as a SL subject. For Math HL, the eligibility is a minimum of grade B.
Candidates coming from CBSE should have a minimum of 8.0 CGPA and from ICSE board a minimum of 60%. For Math HL, the eligibility is 80% (CBSE or ICSE)
In case of not meeting any or some of the eligibility criteria, the candidates will not be liable to full Diploma and will be registered for course.

For admission in DP year 2, the student should achieve a minimum of 3 points in all SL subjects and a minimum of 4 points in all HL subjects and a total of 24 points.
He/She should submit the report card of the last school attended. The student also needs to complete the TOK exhibition and hand over the PPD form duly signed by the previous school’s TOK Coordinator before admission.
Other subject specific requirements should be furnished by the last school that the candidate attended.
The admission will only be confirmed after receiving necessary documents from the previous school, needed for subjects and core requirements.
Inclusion in MYP and DP: The school provides equal opportunities to all students to seek admission, however, once admitted their promotion to higher classes is solely based on their performance for which they receive planned learning support in school.
Access arrangements as per IB norms will be provided in DP and MYP but there will be no modification in demand of assessments and learning outcomes.
